Govt cancels SRO 2008 on smoking

ISLAMABAD: Federal Ministry of Health has cancelled SRO 2008 about smoking with instantaneous effect and imposed ban over smoking at definite places. Under the directives of Federal Minister of Health Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani a new health warning will be on paper at cigarette packs from July 1st.The ministry has also decisive to ban the incentive given by the cigarette manufacturer to attract smokers and amplify smoking in public.
