MINGORA: Chief of Army Staff Gen Ashfaque Pervez Kayani visit Swat on Monday to analysis the Operation Rah-e-Rast.
According to the sources, the field commander briefed the Army Chief about the counterinsurgency operation in Swat Valley.
Gen Officer Commanding Maj. Gen. Ejaz Awan and Maj. Gen. Sajjad Ghani briefed Gen. Kayani on various aspects of the continuing operation in Swat, sources said. They also learned that the operation beside the insurgents was successfully nonstop in its concluding segment and expressed hope that after restoration of the basic services the displaced persons will soon return to their homes.
