LONDON: Pakistan to take on England in their gap match of the ICC World Twenty20 Championship at The Oval today.England are facing a humiliating first-round exit from the event in their own garden after being stunned by the Netherlands in the tournament opener at Lord’s on Friday night and Pakistan might find themselves in a similar situation if they misfire against the hosts.Pakistan has lost the two warm-up games of the tournament against South Africa and India with big margins. Pakistan is planning to field their best side against England. The team management has all but finalised the inclusion of teenage pacer Mohammad Aamer to bolster the pace attack that is expected to include Umar Gul and Yasir Arafat.Saeed Ajmal will head the spin batteries that include Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Malik. Paul Collingwood, the England captain, was hoping that his players will put aside the dissatisfaction of the defeat next to the Dutch and beat Pakistan today.England was predictable to make a few changes with Kevin Pietersen recurring to the line-up subject to fitness. Rookie spinner Adil Rashid, who failed to click against the Dutch, is likely to make way for the more skilled Graeme Swann.
