KARACHI: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has admitted that Karachi is confronted with more “political problems” than the managerial ones, urging on joint efforts by all the political parties for the resolution of the disputes.
After chairing a high-level gathering on law and order condition and recent spree of objective killing in Karachi, PM Gilani told the newsmen in a briefing that a committee has been formed to avoid the reoccurrence of target killing of political activists in the metropolis.
PM, flanked by Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, condemned the target killing in the city and said that the Karachi is facing political troubles that should be address immediately.
