Sindh budget today

KARACHI: The Sindh budget for 2009-10 with a probable lay out of over Rs300 billion is being accessible in the Sindh Assembly today.Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who also holds the portfolio of finance, will present the shortfall budget. The size of the budget 2009-10 is probable to be over Rs300 billion with a deficit of Rs15 billion. The total spend of the present fiscal budget 2008-09 was Rs267.7 billion with a deficit of Rs14 billion.The Sindh breakfront would support the budget proposals prior to its appearance in the assembly, which is planned to meet at 5pm on Monday.
